Hi there – I’m Tatum, a Certified Interior Decorator – and I’m here to Redo the Zoo!
As a Kalamazoo native, I love this area and all it has to offer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved decorating and making homes beautiful while livable, something I truly believe in.
Growing up, I could be found watching hours of HGTV or out shopping for a new project with my mom, Susan. Sometimes to the dismay of my dad who was constantly being asked to get out his tools and assist with our “projects.”
In 2015, my family fulfilled a dream of building a home in my dad’s hometown in Northern Ontario. A few years later in 2018, we started building a new home in Kalamazoo. For both of these home builds, we spent many hours planning, researching, designing, and decorating our homes with the help of our builders. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of decorating them from top to bottom. After building both of these homes, I joked about starting my own business helping people decorate and redo their homes. That is when “Redo the Zoo” started becoming a possibility.
After I graduated college this idea to help friends and family love their homes again became less of a dream and more of a reality. And that’s why I’m here to help you Redo your little piece of the ‘Zoo.
In the last few years in business, I have had the privilege to help clients design their new builds, aid in renovation projects, source full furniture overhauls, & even worked with a few clients across the country virtually.
