Kalamazoo may have a funny name, but there is nothing funny about how this city and its members support one another. When it comes to a lending hand, you ask for one and you receive ten in this city. This is something our family has experienced firsthand over the years. At Redo the Zoo, we have a commitment to this community to support local.
To us supporting means two things. 1) supporting our local businesses to the best of our ability 2) most importantly, supporting our fellow Kalamazoo residents in times of trials and tribulations.
Through the powers of community, our hope is to have nominations made of individuals or families who may benefit from our services free of charge. Although our impact may look small from the outside, our hope is to bring joy and smiles to our fellow friends and new friends in our community.
